    Sandra Robinson CEO

    Sandra’s career has always focused on jobs where people are at the heart of her work – as a teacher in four different countries and later, a decade in Community Development and Community Planning in local government. These experiences evolved her understanding of the importance of community and the role of owners of systems which scaffold those communities. This lead her to Community Centres SA, where she worked with the community sector to demonstrate outcomes and strengthen accountability, and then to Together SA, where her work focuses on systemic change and genuine empowerment of communities through Collective Impact.

  • Froukje Jongsma
    Froukje Jongsma CI Leader – WAY (Wellbeing of Adelaide Youth) and Strategic Learning

    Froukje brings to Together SA a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of civic, youth and community engagement and is a passionate social innovator. Before joining Together SA she managed UniSA Volunteering where she initiated and co-designed the award winning Community Connect Program. Froukje is from the Netherlands where she was responsible for managing the community and youth portfolios of LOKAAL, the Centre for Democracy in Rotterdam. She has also worked as a journalist and Broadcasting Director for the Dutch equivalent of SBS, led an advocacy campaign supporting farmers and their families in the Palestinian Territories, and did research in Jordan on the topic of honour and honour killings. Froukje has a Master’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from Leiden University and is currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate Social Impact at the UNSW Business School.

  • Mary Hajistassi
    Mary Hajistassi CI Leader – Together in the South

    Mary has an extensive background in community and workplace organising, campaigning, training and facilitation, both in Australia and the UK. She has worked across the education, early learning, aged care and manufacturing sectors. Her work has focused on empowering others to achieve results, building capacity and mobilising communities.  In the UK she held a strategic leadership role across the North West of England for the Association of Teachers and Lecturers and was instrumental in developing their Shape Education Campaign in response to whole-scale cuts to education. In Australia she led the South Australian arm of the national Big Steps Campaign, supporting early childhood educators to achieve professional wages.

Office Administration

  • Robin Walden
    Robin Walden EA/Ops & Admin Coordinator

    Robin provides support to the CEO and Together SA staff to manage Operations, Admin, Marketing/Comms, HR, IT & Events.  She works to develop & implement productive strategies and processes. She has partnered with NFP and private corporations to develop program services to an outcome and person-centred based delivery, increasing brand awareness and developing organisations to realise high performing cultures. She brings to this position a passion for the sector, the drive, skills and abilities to meet the demands of the organisation.

Data & Evaluations

  • Eboni Tiller
    Eboni Tiller Data & Evaluation Officer

    Eboni splits her time between Together SA and UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (UCWB). At Together SA she assists initiatives build their data and evaluation capacity. At UCWB, she is part of the Research and Evaluation team, which works to improve organisational performance and capacity. Eboni is driven by an interest in making data and evaluation meaningful and useful for people.

  • Cheryl Bencetti
    Cheryl Bencetti Bookkeeper

    Cheryl has been with Together SA since the beginning.  Cheryl brings to the organisation exceptional experience and knowledge gathered from her many years in this role with numerous NFP organisations.  She works with Together SA in a part-time capacity keeping all the wheels turning and looking after our clients, staff and accounts.
